Job Title: QA– BFSI Domain

Location: Offshore – Willingness to travel to Jamaica for knowledge transition

occasionally.

Summary:

As a QA member, the candidate will be responsible for leading the QA process for some

of the projects of our client. They will be working closely with cross-functional teams to

define testing strategies, manage test execution, and implement best practices in quality

assurance. Expertise in the BFSI domain will be crucial in identifying risks and ensuring

compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Involve in planning, executing, and managing testing activities and lead the QA

process from front.

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand

requirements and ensure quality is embedded in the development process.

- Design, develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Defect reports

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications, focusing

on functional, regression, and performance testing (Cypress, Selenium and Appium)

- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in testing processes

and methodologies.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

- Oversee the tracking and reporting of defects, ensuring timely resolution and

communication with relevant teams.

- Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive product

improvements.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and

methodologies.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

- Strong experience in the BFSI domain, with a solid understanding of financial products

and services.

- Knowledge of Finacle Core Modules (TD, Loans, Payments, charges etc.) and

associated backend tables for proper validation of test scenarios.

- Especially knowledge on ACH/RTGS/NEFT payment system (Finacle) is mandatory

- Knowledge of the different scheme parameters for the products associated and

configurations.

- Proficiency in test automation tools (Must have - Cypress, Selenium, Apache JMeter)

and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous

deployment (CI/CD) processes.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple

priorities.

Preferred:

- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or relevant BFSI certifications.

- Experience with performance testing and security testing in BFSI applications.

- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
