Lead CICS AdministratorThe role of Lead CICS Administrator is a challenging and rewarding position that requires expertise in Mainframe and CICS technologies. This individual will be responsible for managing the CICS environment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:Installation and Configuration: The successful candidate will have experience with SMP/E for installing work on CICS and associated products, as well as security expertise in RACF, including installation, creating security rules, and managing access control lists.Troubleshooting: This role requires a deep understanding of CICS MRO environments, including TOR and AOR configurations, and the ability to set traces (Aux and GTF) to aid vendors in problem management.Performance Optimization: The Lead CICS Administrator will be responsible for interpreting shutdown statistics to diagnose issues and plan for growth, as well as manipulating dynamic storage areas for efficient resource allocation.Support and Maintenance: This individual will provide support for web services within CICS and maintain RACF security across resources, ensuring high availability and performance of the CICS environment.Requirements:Experience: The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in CICS administration, with a strong background in Mainframe and CICS technologies.Skills: This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as IBM CICS Certification or similar, are highly desirable.What We Offer:Competitive Salary and Benefits Package: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.Opportunities for Growth and Development: We are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers, with opportunities for training, mentorship, and advancement.
