We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO Business Analyst (BA) to join our team and support global SAP deployments and improvements. This role is based at our Technology Centre in Ahmedabad and requires occasional travel to our manufacturing site in Sanand, as well as international travel to the USA and other global locations. The BA will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working closely with stakeholders to drive SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business units to understand needs and translate them into clear SAP FICO solutions.
Elicit high-level requirements and define business processes, metrics, and outcomes.
Participate in SAP Discover, Build, Test, and Deploy activities.
Map and improve business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring alignment on project goals.
Develop and maintain training documentation, providing user training for SAP system usage.
Identify and resolve system and business issues.
Ensure architectural consistency and usability standards.
Define and execute test cases, ensuring functionality meets business needs.
Travel Requirements:
Initial on-site visit at our Sanand facility for at least 2 weeks.
4-6 week trip to Ohio, USA for training on global SAP configuration.
International travel for training/localization purposes and on-site support during go-lives.
Periodic travel to Sanand based on project needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst preferred.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and FICO modules is preferred.
Broad IT domain experience, ideally in areas such as Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, and Quality Assurance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to convert business requirements into functional requirements and use cases.
Ability to drive collaboration across teams and departments.
Willingness to work non-standard hours when necessary.
Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
