Cloud Database AdministratorWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator to oversee the management of our SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. This role requires expertise in installation, configuration, deployment, and administration of the database engine.Responsibilities include creating and maintaining databases and database objects, performance tuning, optimization, networking, and security. Experience with virtualization platforms, such as Microsoft Azure Cloud or Amazon Web Services, is essential.Preferable skills include knowledge of Azure SQL and SQL Managed Instance, as well as other relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.). Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) is also beneficial.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Administering all aspects of SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databasesExperience with virtualization and cloud platformsDatabase scripting skills and ability to read and analyze Transact-SQLAutomating DBA tasks using PowerShell or any programming languageTroubleshooting slow-running queries, optimizing indexes, analyzing execution plans, and improving database performance at scaleDesigning, configuring, and testing database standard and high availability modelsJoin us and take your career to new heights as a Cloud Database Administrator.
