Hiring BODS /SLT Specialist [6-10 Years]

Shift Timing - 11AM-8PM

Bangalore/ Hyderabad


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.


Qualifications:

8 to 10 years Advanced Level of experience in design & creation of ETL processes using BODS and SLT.

Strong ETL knowledge in building Real Time jobs, Batch jobs, Scheduling, Web Services.

Strong knowledge on concepts of Slowly Changing Dimension, ABAP Data flow Extractions, Data warehouse concepts Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, OLTP and OLAP

Experience in establishing connection with heterogeneous sources like Hadoop, Hive, Amazon, Salesforce, HANA, ServiceNow, API’s, Web service REST, Web service SOAP, various Databases etc.

Performance tuning in BODS using Bulk loader, parallelism etc. to optimized long running jobs.

Hands on experience writing scripting language for custom functions, lookup functions, validation rules, transformation logic, command scripts.

Develop code to automate jobs using Realtime services, flexible coding to keep/remove dependencies and reusable objects

Working experience of BODS code promotion, Jobs optimization, database creation, repository creation, user authorization, understanding on SAP BW, ECC, R/3, HANA and SQL servers as a source/Target.

Knowledge on BODS configurations to improve tool performance using inbuild options.

Working experience of at least 2 Installation/upgrade and 2 migration projects and configuration of BODS with end-to-end support.

Working knowledge of BODS server architecture, Infrastructure of BODS systems and landscape, data governance, Data modelling and Data architect skills using BODS as ETL.

Advanced level of experience in SQL

In depth knowledge of BODS Repositories, Job Servers Mgmt., Users, Security, Adapters etc.

Knowledge on BODS BCP planning and execution & Cloud connectivity Roadmap.

Working knowledge of Central Management Console (CMC), Repository Manager and Management Console and Server Management.

Knowledge of Ticketing tools like ServiceNow Incidents or any other similar tools.

Working experience of 5 year (minimum) on BODS Production Support which includes

Troubleshooting Long running/Memory Intensive BODS Jobs


Troubleshooting System Tables & connection issues with heterogeneous sources.

Awareness of how to identify existing solutions for SAP BODS issues

Raising OSS Notes for Upgrade issues and engaging SAP Vendor Teams

Monitoring Memory, CPU Utilization.

BCP Planning and execution.

Working experience of at least 1 Installation and 1 upgrade projects and configuration of SLT with end-to-end support.

Working experience of SLT Admin activities

Experience in Handling Replication issues to SAP HANA and SAP ECC systems

Awareness of how to identify existing solutions for SAP SLT issues

Engage SAP Vendor Team for issues

Raising OSS Notes for Upgrade issues and following up with SAP

Working with App teams on SLT Issues identified during the SLT Upgrade on their Models

Co-ordinating with App Teams and suggesting Solutions for the issues

Working experience of Setting Up Data Replication and Creating an SLT Configuration.

Working experience of Changing Structures in Source Tables and Advanced Replication Settings.
