Renewable Energy Equipment Inspector

Job SummaryCoordinate and conduct pre-dispatch (production supervision, factory acceptance tests, pre-shipment inspections) and post-dispatch inspections for renewable energy equipment (solar modules, energy storage systems, wind turbines, inverters).Key Responsibilities:Understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the project's requirements.Participate in the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules, and schedule.Verify the site conditions (5M methodology) prior to performing the inspection.Coordinate the inspection team on-site as per the activity schedule prepared by the Project Manager.Witness manufacturing and testing progress by analyzing measurement according to a checklist.Monitor the testing lead time to ensure completion within the agreed schedule.Inform contact people on-site about findings and analyze their improvement plans.Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on-site during the inspection.Fill out the inspection report based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.Suggest improvements to the supplier to enhance the inspected product and testing conditions.Qualifications and Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.Professional Knowledge: Ability to correctly interpret drawings, specifications, and test procedures for PV modules.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control (factory or on-site) and at least 5 years of experience in a PV module technical position.Management Skills: Minimum 1-2 years of management experience required.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.Language Skills: Highly proficient in spoken and written English.Other Requirements: High ethics, excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability; 80% of worktime is spent on-site.
