Computational Biology/Bioinformatics Specialist RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated computational biologist to join our team of experts in omics (NGS) analysis.The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing novel pipelines to optimize omics analysis implementation for genomics data analysis, drug repurposing, biomarker identification, patient stratification, disease modelling and data integration.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing novel omics analysis pipelinesAnalyzing large datasets from various sources, including NGS sequencing dataGenerating in-silico experimental workflows and in-depth knowledge in proprietary and public biological databases, methods, and toolsPresenting results and scientific hypotheses to internal and external stakeholdersRequired Skills and Qualifications:Masters degree with 3 years of industrial experience in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology or related fieldStrong track record of scRNA-Seq and other Omics (NGS) data analysis and downstream systemic interpretationGood understanding of current best practices in computational biology data-managementExpertise in one or more programming/scripting languages such as R, Python, shell-script for complex data analysisExperience with Docker and NextflowFamiliarity with machine learning is an added advantageAbility to generate scientific hypothesis along with good scientific/technical communication skillsBenefits:Opportunity to work with a team of experts in computational biology and bioinformaticsCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional development opportunitiesAbout the Role:This role involves working with diverse customers/partners in drug discovery and development, and being part of a multi-disciplinary team of PhD level scientists.The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities of Omics (NGS) related projects, keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments, and presenting results and scientific hypotheses to internal and external stakeholders.To Apply:Please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and experience.
