We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of databases while supporting business applications and development teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database architecture, backup/recovery strategies, and performance tuning.


  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases, tools, and related products.
  • Monitor database performance, capacity, and security.
  • Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and maintain backup/recovery procedures using RMAN or other tools.
  • Ensure disaster recovery strategies and business continuity plans are in place.
  • Conduct regular database health checks and risk assessments.
  • Manage user access, roles, and privileges to ensure data security.
  • Apply database patches and upgrades in compliance with vendor recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, GDPR, HIPAA, or other regulations.
  • Support developers with SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema design.
  • Optimize database queries and application performance.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track database availability and performance.
  • Automate repetitive tasks such as backups, alerts, and maintenance routines.
  • Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and standards.
  • Work closely with system administrators, application developers, and IT security teams.
  • Participate in project planning, database migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Provide 24/7 support for critical production databases when required.
