Job Description:


POLICY ADVOCACY

  • Communicate with State bodies on policies that will help industries thrive including response to draft notices.
  • Communicate with State bodies / stakeholder on issues that impact EODB.


  • A] Business Facilitation


  • Help BUs understand State policies & changes/amendments made time to time.
  • Obtain appointments / Set up Meetings of Business leaders with Govt. officials.
  • Expedite NOCs/Approvals on submissions made are as per regulatory guidelines.


  • B] Brand Positioning
  • Protect company reputation in all matters by communicating the true facts to all stakeholders.


  • C] Risk Management/Crises Management Identify & Manage potential Political & Regulatory risks & crisis.
  • Play a critical role in crises management.


  • D] Represent Company in Industry Forums and State Industry task forces.


  • Acting as the Company representative in meetings, discussions and events organized by industry associations, trade bodies etc
  • Participating in task forces set up by industry bodies to address specific issues or challenges.


Stakeholders to Interface


A] Authorities who deal with land / land use matters, Collectorates, Municipal Corporations, MSRT, Water & Irrigation, Fire licences / NOCs, Labour, Safety, Pollution Control & Environment, sanction & use of Electricity, PNG & other Energy sources, home affairs, Law & Order enforcement agencies such as the Police & authorities who deal with permission on storage of hazardous material such as Furnace oil etc.


Requisite Qualification/Experience

Degree in any field

Min 15 -20 Years in the field of Liasion & policy advocacy
