Job Description: BASIS Administrator (mid-level)

We seek a skilled SAP BASIS Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. As a mid-level SAP

BASIS Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical administration, maintenance, and

support of SAP applications, including SAP ECC, GRC, BPC, S/4HANA, BTP, and other SAP

modules. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our SAP environments'

stability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

 Perform/participate in SAP installations, upgrades, system copies, and migrations.

 Configure and maintain SAP NetWeaver systems (ABAP and Java stacks).

 Monitor and optimize system performance and ensure high availability of SAP systems.

 Troubleshoot SAP application and infrastructure issues.

 Coordinate and manage various activities with 3 rd party providers including AMS and

SAP RISE.

 Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP modules (e.g. OTC, PTP, and RTR).

 Manage transport management system (TMS) and change control processes through the

use of ChaRM.

 Contribute to and maintain SAP landscape and disaster recovery plans.

 Maintain documentation related to SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.

 Participate in scheduled maintenance activities including planning, execution, or

directing 3 rd parties.

 Ensure SAP releases, patches, and upgrades are up to date; evaluate and apply

accordingly.

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or

equivalent experience).

 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.

 Proficient in SAP installation, configuration, and administration across multiple SAP

products including familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA on RISE.

 Hands-on experience with SAP patching and support pack installation.

 Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, system refreshes, and client copies.

 Familiarity in SAP security administration and user management.

 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments independently

or as a member of a team.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a remote

and in person work environment.

 Broad understanding of enterprise applications and the ability to learn new skills and

applications as requirements dictate.

 SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) preferred.

 Experience with SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) and SAP BTP

is a plus.

 Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
