Having offices in Adelaide/Australia, London/UK, Athens/Greece, and Chandigarh/India, Capital Wallet aims to grow the teams, expand its operations and be the hub for both retail and institutional crypto services.
Job Description: Operations Associate (Job Location : India)
The Senior B2B Operations Executive will play an essential role in managing and streamlining the operational processes across our fintech platforms, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires strong multitasking abilities and a meticulous attention to detail to support transaction processing, client onboarding, reconciliation, and operational reporting.
The ideal candidate is experienced in fintech, payments, or wealth management operations, with a background in managing transactions, and is capable of troubleshooting and optimizing workflows to enhance the client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee the daily operations of the platform, monitoring for potential issues or opportunities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
● Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies in transaction data or service performance.
● Perform the “Maker” function for client withdrawal requests, maintaining transaction records with a high degree of accuracy and ensuring all data files are up to date.
● Manage and support the daily T+1 reconciliation process, investigating and resolving any issues related to transactions and balances to maintain accurate financial records.
● Coordinate with the Customer Relations team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during client onboarding, handling account setup and documentation accurately.
● Maintain and regularly update client onboarding documentation in the database, ensuring completeness and compliance in all records.
● Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports on operational expenses related to client transactions, contributing insights for cost management and process improvement.
● Support senior management in developing and refining reports related to crypto and fiat management, focusing on effective liquidity management and asset tracking.
● Supervise all aspects of crypto and fiat transaction processing, including trading,settlements, and reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
● Collaborate with senior management to set up baseline reporting standards for crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring transparency and efficiency in asset management.
● Liaise closely with Fund Accounting, Technology, and other business units to align operational activities with overall business goals and optimize processes.
● Collaborate on the implementation of best practices, system updates, and workflow improvements to enhance team performance and service delivery.
● Support the development and refinement of operational systems and workflows, contributing to projects that enhance process efficiency and reduce manual work.
● Own and continuously update process documentation to ensure clear, consistent, and effective operational practices across the team.
● Act as a key point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues, researching problems to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
● Collaborate with the Technology and Customer Relations teams to ensure timely issue resolution and a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or certifications in finance/operations are advantageous.
● 4+ years of experience in B2B operations within the financial services, or wealth management sectors.
● Experience managing crypto and fiat transactions, with knowledge of trading, settlement, and liquidity management.
● Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial and transaction record-keeping.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
● Proficiency with operations platforms, reconciliation tools, and data management systems.
● Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
● Proficient in MS-Office particularly -MS Excel
