Experience Required: 10+ years in financial leadership, preferably with experience in the Robotics/New Age Tech domain with startup & fund raising experience.


Role Overview


We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead Alphadroid financial strategy, planning & operations. As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the business, ensuring the company’s financial health and supporting its growth across the globe.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute Alphadroid’s financial strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and business objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Lead overseas expansion and compliances
  • Business financial operations & reporting:
  • Manage financial operations, including accounting, tax compliance, and audits.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Capital Management:
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including investor relations and securing capital for business expansion.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to support growth initiatives.
  • Risk Management & Compliance.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s assets & brand.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards in the education domain.
  • Lead certifications, IP etc.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to enable them with financial models / contracting
  • Work closely with the CEO, CBO, and other leadership members to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to drive profitability.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track key financial metrics.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the Tech Startup.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations in a high-growth environment.

Skills And Competencies

  • Deep understanding of financial management in the new age tech sector.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with edtech business models, including subscription-based and SaaS revenue streams.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
