Job Title: Cloud Data ArchitectWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Architect with experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms. Key responsibilities include developing database structures, monitoring performance issues, managing security policies, supporting data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and availability within the cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:Configure and maintain cloud environments, including virtual warehouses, databases, and storage.Monitor database performance, tune queries, and optimize resource usage for cost-efficiency and scalability.Implement and manage security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and network policies, to ensure compliance.Manage data loading, transformation, extraction (ETL/ELT) processes, and data governance.Create and manage user accounts, roles, and privileges to ensure secure and appropriate access to data assets.Plan, execute, and test disaster recovery strategies and data retention policies.Develop and implement automation for production deployments and routine database tasks.Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to provide solutions, support data-related activities, and integrate cloud services with other tools.Monitor database availability, performance, and query logs, and provide support to resolve issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:Snowflake Expertise: Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.SQL Proficiency: Deep knowledge of SQL for querying, data management, and performance tuning.Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and cloud cost management.Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash and experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Data Security: Knowledge of data security, encryption, access controls, and compliance frameworks.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Benefits:As a Cloud Data Architect, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with a talented team, and develop your skills in cloud-based data platforms.You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
