The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, as well as experience designing and scaling microservices.Responsibilities:Backend Architecture & MicroservicesArchitect and develop scalable APIs for high-performance systems.Build low-latency services for search, filtering, availability, and pricing.Implement idempotency, retries, consistency guarantees, and fault tolerance.Search, Pricing & Booking FlowsDevelop robust booking flows requiring transactional correctness and reliability.Work on integrating with external travel suppliers, hotel partners, and payment gateways.IntegrationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement seamless integrations.Performance, Reliability & ObservabilityMonitor and analyze system performance using logs, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing.Requirements:4+ years of experience in backend development.Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs.Experience designing and scaling microservices.Strong understanding of concurrency, distributed systems fundamentals, and idempotency patterns.Preferred Skills:Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).Knowledge of gRPC, DDD, or hexagonal architecture.
