Cyber Security SpecialistThis role involves spearheading the development and implementation of advanced security solutions leveraging SIEM, SOAR, and machine learning to boost detection, response, and operational efficiency across the organization.Design, implement, and manage centralized log analysis and real-time event monitoring using enterprise SIEM (Splunk) solutions.Develop and refine correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and use cases to identify anomalous and malicious activity.Lead data ingestion and normalization from diverse enterprise systems (e.g., cloud workloads, endpoints, network devices).Create and maintain SOAR playbooks to automate incident detection, triage, response, and recovery.Optimize SOAR workflows and integrations with security infrastructure to minimize MTTD/MTTR.Build and apply machine learning models to detect security anomalies, enrich event context, and predict threats.Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC), DevOps, IT, and business units to align security automation with strategic objectives.Analyze incident data to uncover trends and provide recommendations for enhancing controls and detection.Maintain detailed documentation for playbooks, integrations, automation processes, and incident response protocols.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging tools to continually enhance detection and automation strategies.Promote best practices and mentor junior engineers in SOAR and SIEM.
