This role focuses on delivering expert calculation and automation analysis to support client implementations and ongoing operations. You’ll play a key part in interpreting complex pension data, designing high-quality solutions, and mentoring peers across the analyst community. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide calculation and automation expertise for client implementations and system operationsAnalyse scheme documentation, actuarial instructions, and data sets to support accurate pension calculationsTranslate client requirements into clear, testable specifications and documentationDevelop and execute robust testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverablesCollaborate with stakeholders to identify and document functional changes to core products and toolsLead technical discussions, mentor junior analysts, and drive best practices across the teamStay current with pensions legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance and innovation Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of UK(preferable)/US pensions legislation and administration softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departmentsProven leadership in technical forums and mentoring roles6 to 10 years of total relevant experience DesirableExperience in Employee Benefits or Life & Pensions industriesFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, or ITIL methodologiesKnowledge of calculation engines and programming principles
