Senior/ Principal Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer/Principal Engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers that is responsible to design, develop and supporting client facing applications of PrismHR HCM SaaS solution built on modern technology stack. The system currently supports over 2 million worksite employees and processes over 80 billion in annual payroll. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Quality and DevOps engineers, and Engineering Managers to continuously deliver value to our customers.Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality code and features with a high degree of ownershipEnsure code quality through use of software engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, peer programming etc.Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.Balance competing priorities to ensure we effectively ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt.Participate in Agile ceremonies, story refinement and accurately estimate work efforts and requirementsSupport a fail-fast and learn mentality to drive responsible innovationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field8-12 yrs of development experience in the Microsoft technologies - C#, ASP.NET, MVC framework, Razor Pages, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, web formsExperience developing Front-end Web Application framework utilizing ASP.Net Core for enterprise level web applications.Hands-on experience working in .NET Framework 4.5+, JS Report 3.11.x,Proficient in SQL, developing and executing database queries in SQL/PostgreSQLProficient in Entity Framework 6.x, EF Core, ADO.NETExperience in Agile Software Delivery, Jira, GitHub, unit testing frameworksFamiliarity with the client side framework jQuery/ Angular 12+/ ReactStrong understanding of various levels of n-tier architecture using object oriented conceptsStrong communication, with the ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences and the ability to translate customer requirements to technical designsPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of modern microservice-based architectures and methodologiesFamiliarity with Kubernetes and cloud vendor solutions like GCP, AWS or Azure.Experience with CI/CD pipelineHCM domain knowledge is a plusPrismHR is a fast-paced SaaS company which provides customers with a cloud-based payroll process software application.
