This position requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders ensuring all entities within the organization are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.In this role, you will work closely with various teams to ensure activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also be required to provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all entities within the organization are compliant with relevant laws and regulations including but not limited to Companies Act, Securities Act, and Employment Act.Provide expert advice to stakeholders on compliance matters including corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws.Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters including corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws.Collaborate with various teams to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations.Lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement corrective actions as needed.Develop and implement training programs to enhance compliance knowledge and skills among employees.Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.QualificationsCompany Secretary with 2-4 years of experienceProven experience in corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment lawsStrong understanding of regulatory requirements including but not limited to Companies Act, Securities Act, and Employment ActAbility to provide expert advice to stakeholders on compliance mattersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to work with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and mitigate risksGood understanding of entity structuring including holding companies subsidiaries and joint venturesKey SkillsStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements including but not limited to Companies Act, Securities Act, and Employment Act enabling you to ensure all entities within the organization are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.Good understanding of entity structuring including holding companies subsidiaries and joint ventures enabling you to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Leadership skills including ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements enabling you to develop and implement plans to ensure compliance and lead teams to implement those plans.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and mitigate risks enabling you to conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.
