Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AEM Backend Developer to support and enhance our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. This role will focus on integration of services, system architecture, and custom component development, to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and services using Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
• Design and implement custom AEM solutions based on business needs, including servlets, workflows, and schedulers.
• Build and integrate OSGi services to extend AEM functionality and connect with external systems (via REST/SOAP APIs).
• Optimize and maintain JCR content structures for performance, scalability, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug AEM environments to ensure smooth operation, working on AEM performance tuning.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and content authors to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to AEM development standards and best practices, including code quality, security, and performance.
• Lead technical code reviews, unit testing, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) development.
• Proficiency in Java, JCR, Sling, and OSGi frameworks.
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture.
• Experience integrating AEM with third-party services using REST and SOAP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Jenkins, and Git for version control.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Adobe Managed Services.
• Experience with AEM Dispatcher configuration for caching and load balancing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for local development and deployment
automation.
