Job OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to drive the development and deployment of advanced AI models that power our intelligent chatbots and voice agents.About the Role:You will collaborate closely across product, engineering, and clinical teams to deliver data-driven improvements and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of NHS digital transformation.As part of this team, you'll design, develop, and deploy AI models that ingest NHS data sources, generate accurate responses, and power both chatbot and voice agent interactions.You will craft and optimise prompts—and design voice-agent dialogue flows—to maximise response relevance, reduce latency, and ensure clinical safety across text and voice channels.Additionally, you'll partner with frontend and backend teams to integrate AI and voice agent components into our Azure-hosted microservices architecture.You will also instrument AI and voice-agent pipelines, analyse logs and user feedback, troubleshoot edge cases, and implement continuous-learning improvements.A key aspect of this role is staying up-to-date with the latest advances in LLMs, RAG, conversational AI frameworks, and NHS-specific compliance (GDPR, DTAC) to inform our technical roadmap.About the Team:Our team is passionate about harnessing the power of AI to transform patient care.
