Cloud Architect PositionAgnotic's cloud infrastructure is built on the foundation of a skilled Cloud Architect and System Administrator. This pivotal role involves designing, operating, and securing our cloud environment to ensure it remains stable, secure, and cost-effective.The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience in cloud or system administration, with a strong understanding of both AWS and Azure. They should possess solid knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls, as well as experience with IIS, MS SQL, and scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.Key responsibilities include deploying and maintaining AWS and Azure environments, managing Windows and Linux servers, configuring firewalls, VPNs, and SSL/TLS certificates, and setting up monitoring through CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, New Relic, and Nagios.The successful candidate will also be skilled in performing regular security audits, managing IAM and Azure AD, identifying and fixing vulnerabilities, managing backups, disaster recovery plans, and incident response, as well as tracking and optimizing cloud costs.Additional skills that are nice to have include familiarity with Sophos UTM, Jira, New Relic, and Nagios, experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or continuous integration and delivery, and exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
