Overview We are seeking a Senior Tele-Counsellor to engage with students and provide first-level counselling. The primary responsibility is to reach out to prospective students from our database, explain our services, and convert them into leads by scheduling a counselling session with the company owner (either virtual or in-person). Office Location: Opposite Matunga West Railway Station Key Responsibilities Outbound Calling & Service Explanation Call students from the provided database to inform them about our overseas education services. Engage in meaningful conversations to understand students’ interests, needs, and aspirations for studying abroad. Clearly communicate the benefits of our services, admission guidance, visa assistance Handle initial questions and objections professionally and empathetically. First-Level Counselling Provide basic guidance to students about studying abroad, including university options, country preferences, and application timelines. Build trust and credibility with prospective students during conversations. Lead Conversion Schedule virtual or in-person counselling sessions with the company owner. Ensure that follow-up calls are made to confirm appointments and address any doubts before the session. CRM & Database Maintenance Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions and feedback in the CRM (Lead Squared). Submit daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads converted, and counselling sessions scheduled. Collaboration Coordinate with the counselling team to ensure seamless follow-up on leads. Work closely with the management to refine calling scripts and strategies. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in a Study Abroad or Education related company. Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional local languages are a plus). Confident, proactive, empathetic, and persuasive. Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications is preferred. Minimum Bachelors degree completed. Key Competencies Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students. Ability to build relationships with students, understand their needs & handle objections Maintain a good follow up strategy over the phone & WhatsApp to convert leads What We Offer Monthly Salary: Industry-standard salary based on experience and skills.
