Location: Bangalore, India NOT A WFH ROLE. ONSITE BANGALORE ONLY

Alpha Variance Solutions is based in New York City with offices in Bangalore, India & Düsseldorf, Germany.
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a talented HR Generalist with specialized knowledge in ZOHO Payroll to join our team in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes utilizing ZOHO Payroll software, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Additionally, the HR Generalist will handle various HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing utilizing ZOHO Payroll software.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
Maintain compliance with all payroll-related regulations and company policies.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations in India and implement necessary updates.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and communication.
Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and confidentiality of HR data.
Assist in HR-related reporting and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
In-depth understanding of payroll processing laws, regulations, and practices in India.
Proficiency in using ZOHO Payroll software or similar payroll management systems.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in India.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR will be considered a plus.
