Director Of Engineering

Job Title - Engineering Director
Experience - 15+ years
Location - Chennai (Work From Office)
NOTE : Ideal to have core banking or finance technology domain expertise like (Cards, Payments, Lending, Retail/Core banking)
Responsibilities
Understand business needs from the product team to define system specifications
Work with senior stakeholders like Chief Architect and Business Head to discuss and come up with robust solutions
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
Communicate system requirements to software developers
Design & Delivery digital user journeys end to end
Design consistent experience on Mobile, Desktop and Tablet form factors
Oversee developers’ work (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
Assist in pre-sales by participating in solution consulting for various RFPs and also help in filling RFP responses as well as ability to make customer presentations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Engineering Lead
Appetite and Attitude to work in a high innovation environment
Hands-on experience with digital solutions development including Angular, Spring Boot and Oracle technologies
Understanding of strategic IT solutions
Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. Angular, Java)
Experience in cloud based applications delivery is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Organizational and leadership skills
Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
