Automation Engineer

Bectran is looking for a skilled QA Automation Testing Engineer with a strong proficiency in Selenium to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
Automation Test Design:
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
Design and execute automated test scenarios to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
Test Framework Development:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the automated testing framework.
Implement best practices for maintaining and extending the automation infrastructure.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the QA team, developers, and product managers to understand testing requirements.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability of features.
Test Execution and Reporting:
Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
Generate detailed reports on test results and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Integration with CI/CD:
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize automation processes.
Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track software defects.
Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and facilitate defect resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor‘s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in QA automation testing with a focus on Selenium.
In-depth understanding of automated testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
