GBS Analytics COE – Data Quality Manager

About the Position:

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Data Quality Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Data Quality Lead role lies within the newly created Analytics Centre of Excellence within the Global Business Services organization. The Analytics COE has been set up to build, maintain and enhance analytical products for our business to generate actionable insights from data and make better informed decisions. You’ll be working on managing the data quality and continuous improvement of datasets for the Data Solutions. We are looking for a talented individual who is able to navigate different systems throughout pipeline of data to identify the source of data quality issues, communicate with the business and stakeholders to find a solution, create data quality checks to prevent future issues.

Key Responsibilities

Create Data Quality Controls on Collibra to flag and quantify data quality issues.
Supports the definition of data quality metrics and the creation of data quality scorecards.
Suggest possible Data Quality rules based on analysis of the data to Business/Data stewards.
Work with Data Stewards, Business Stewards, Data Custodians and Data Owners and other business stakeholders to determine the root cause of DQ issues, recommend the action plan to resolve and create data quality checks to flag similar issues in the future.
Suggest DQ rules to be implemented based on analysis with Business and data steward
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and work hand in hand to understand business complaints on data quality issues and create accurate data quality checks.
Leverages deep familiarity with data domain as well as Data Quality standards & practices to effectively improve data quality controls.
Gather user feedback and data issues and manage in a backlog, ordering per business priority. Work in Agile Sprints to execute the backlog. And after issues Are
Raise issues and risks in a timely manner to project managers and data stewards to ensure appropriate actions can be taken to mitigate.
Gather detailed user requirements and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high quality results (such as data stewards, data engineers, business users).
Supports the business to continuously monitor data quality.
Supports Data Governance Analyst in their role by ensuring that Data Governance practices are applied consistently and that CDEs are commonly monitored and well understood by team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor or Master degree. Preference for business, computer science, statistics, data science
8-10 years of relevant experience
Hands on experience in Collibra or Other Data Quality and Governance tools.
Strong analytical skills
Language Knowledge: English
Hands on experience building extract, transform, load (ETL) data pipelines and SQL skills
Hands on experience of building data Quality checks, and Tracing back data issues through data pipelines.
Hands on experience in Programming Languages such as Python, R or any other programming languages
Excellent communication skills with ability to understand and translate business problems and logic into analytical requirements.
Ability to simplify complex logic and present clearly to business stakeholders
Understanding of numbers, ability to sense check independently
Understanding of and working against the importance of managing deadlines
Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Experience working in an Agile DevOps team is highly desirable
