JOB Title : DGM - TQM
Experience : 20 -25 Years, Total Quality Management System for at least 15 years
Qualifications : Graduate or master’s in mechanical / electrical engineering.
Skillset
Experience :
Hands on Quality experience of 20+ Years out of min exp of 15 years.
Expertise on:-
Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks.
Create standards in accordance with industry standards like ISO / IATF requirements and customer expectations.
Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are always met.
Execute tests to check final product adherence to the company standards.
Record findings and relay this information to the production team.
Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity and performance of the production line while maintaining accuracy in quality.
Make crucial decisions in Favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
Oversee production to ensure conformity in final product processing.
Handling of customer Audit / Third party certification Audit & Supplier Audit
Manpower Handling
Budgeting based on The Department Requirements.
Planning & Execution Quality Development Activities/new Projects.
Strong Knowledge on Quality Core Tools like 8D /A3 Report Problem solving Methodology/ leading QCC/ APQP/MSA/FMEA/SPC/PPAP.
Role & Authority Description:
for System, Process and Product audit
for providing necessary measuring devices.
for calibration of measuring and monitoring devices
to maintain calibration records.
for control of non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions.
for all customer complaints are attended and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
for MSA related studies
for inspection of incoming raw materials
for validation of processes for production.
to Carrying out supplier development through supplier audits, including trainings.
to establish, implement, and maintain quality management system in Quality assurance.
to stop production to correct quality concerns.
to accept / reject incoming material.
to plan and perform process / product & System audit. (qualified personnel)
to except / reject products at all stages of production.
and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates these objectives with other managers.
statistical data and product specifications to formulate dealership standards.
comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
and corrects customer complaints regarding quality.
all recently purchased and comeback vehicles to ensure proper correction and condition of vehicle.
monthly with dispatcher and service manager to determine if any recurring problems need to be addressed.
training levels of technicians and communicates concerns to shop foreman.
promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability. Supports technical training effort through one-on-one and group sessions.
all repair orders and ensures that they include complete documentation and that proper warranty procedures have been followed.
and follows all applicable state, and local regulations on hazardous waste and OSHA Right-to-Know.
Ideal Candidate (Experience, Qualification, Previous Work-ex, Companies etc.)
from Automotive OE, Automotive Tier-1
have experience in Quality Assurance for Mechanical Electrical background in Automotive industries.
