As the Manager of Risk Analytics at Cashfree Payments, you will lead a team of skilled professionals in developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies. Leveraging advanced analytics techniques and industry best practices, you will be responsible for safeguarding our platform against fraudulent activities and mitigating various risks associated with digital transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, shape risk management policies, and contribute to the continued success and growth of our organization.

What You Will Do:

Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Manage and mentor a team of risk analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to maximize their potential and performance
Oversee the analysis of transactional data and the development of predictive models and algorithms to identify and mitigate risks, including fraud, credit, and operational risks
Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations based on the analysis of large volumes of transactional data, identifying patterns, trends, and emerging risks to enhance risk management strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and regulatory compliance, to implement risk management initiatives and ensure effective communication and coordination across departments
Establish key risk indicators and performance metrics, monitor risk exposure and performance against targets, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry standards in risk management and analytics, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance risk management processes, methodologies, and tools, leveraging feedback, industry insights, and emerging technologies

What You Will Need:
Bachelor‘s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field advanced degree preferred. Min 4 years of experience.
Proven experience in risk analytics within financial services, with at least 2 years of managerial experience
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and deliver results
Expertise in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc., and experience with machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business impact
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
