Work you’ll do In our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll: - You’ll be responsible for the valuation of complex financial instruments and handing reserving issues, assessing, and proposing changes to valuation methodologies and compliance statements - In this crucial role, you’ll own, supervise and ensure the delivery of daily and monthly Independent Price Verification (IPV) activities for the bank - We’ll look at you to support project and process improvement initiatives, collaborate with management in the review and challenge of team output. - You’ll be responsible for building and reviewing valuation methodologies to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as for mentoring and managing work from sub-teams and active stakeholder engagement. - Supervising financial instrument valuation, PruVal, bid-offer reserving and other financial reporting in line with business requirements - Addressing valuation limitations through reserve or valuation adjustment calculations - Regularly meeting with business analysts for IPV changes and automations, including engaging with the Enterprise Solutions team - Coordinating the resolution of all non-standard queries and supporting the resolution of complex queries on processes and methodologies - Continuously focusing on the improvements, and enhancing existing valuation control solutions, including reviewing independent pricing processes and tools, assessing potential coverage developments, and implementing solutions to enhance control efficacy - Proven experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. - Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques. - Hands-on experience in harvesting metadata from various sources (databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, etc.) into Collibra. - Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) for automation and custom connector development. - Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management concepts. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Qualifications - Collibra certification(s) (e.g., Collibra Ranger, Collibra Steward). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration frameworks Your role as a leader At Deloitte India, we believe in the importance of leadership at all levels.
