Company Description We are a multidisciplinary Lighting Collective working across engineering, architecture, product design, materials R&D, and advanced fabrication. Our group includes Daksh Sanvidha Associates (DSA), Blinkbox Studio, and Art in Light (AIL). We design and manufacture bespoke lighting products, installations, and functional product-art pieces for premium residential, hospitality, commercial, and public spaces. Role Summary We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer with a strong visualisation, product development mindset, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into manufacturable 3D designs. Key Responsibilities - Develop 3D models for lighting products, modular components, bespoke series, and installation pieces. - Create production-ready drawings, 3D renderings, exploded views, and manufacturing reference files. - Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and materials development teams to convert concepts into workable prototypes. - Prepare presentation renders (realistic visualisation) for client interaction. - Maintain a strong understanding of material finishes, assembly logic, tolerances, and component integration. - Support R&D on innovative forms, mechanisms, joints, and modular systems. Technical Skill Requirements Should be proficient in: - 3D Software: - Rhino / Solidworks / Fusion 360 / SketchUp (any two mandatory) - Rendering: - AutoCAD (basic understanding of dimensional accuracy) - File Handling: Preferred Background - Product Design / Industrial Design / Mechanical Design - Experience with bespoke products, lighting, furniture, and automotive-inspired forms - Understanding of materials - Awareness of manufacturing constraints and tolerances Soft Skills - Strong visual imagination - Curiosity and an innovation-driven approach - Good communication and presentation skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment Benefits - Opportunity to work on India’s most innovative and bespoke lighting projects - Creative freedom and experimental environment - Learning across lighting design, engineering, materials science & fabrication - Exposure to national and international project portfolios
