Technical Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking for solution Architect with 12-14 years of comprehensive experience to join our dynamic technology organization. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with key solution design & deployment responsibilities, requiring an individual who can drive engineering excellence while fostering team growth and innovation. The successful candidate will work closely with enterprise architecture team and reports to GCC technology Director.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud/on-premises technical solutions.
- Viewed as a trusted technical advisor and ensure technical solutions will accomplish the business objectives.
- Proven solid hands-on coding & development best practices.
- The person should work with Senior/Lead architects, Enterprise architects, and leadership to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project.
- Assesses existing systems and develop migration strategies to transition on-premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
- Designs integration solutions to enable seamless data flow between systems / integrations.
- Defines and enforces security best practices like Threat Model and compliance standards for cloud-based systems.
- Develops and maintains cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Provides guidance and support to development teams to ensure adherence to architecture standards and best practices.
- Develops or produces the technical design document to match the solution design specifications.
- Manages proof of concept (POC) initiatives, which will require the involvement of the appropriate resources, and setup and delivery of the POC.
- On all assigned engagements, owns the proposed solution and transitions the build / implementation to the delivery team.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and project managers, to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

Knowledge and Attributes:

- Solid engagement skills coupled solid technical consulting aptitude.
- Seasoned understanding of the products business and technology positioning.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, contributing to their success
- In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Understanding, microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Deep knowledge such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), understanding the specific services offered by each platform, including compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
- Understanding of different database options including relational databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Amazon DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of integration technologies such as API gateways, messaging queues, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Make sure this aligns with the overall architecture strategy viewed as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines Ability to adapt in a variety of business areas and architecture domains and move easily from one to another.

Mandatory Skills:

Python, Node, React, AWS, Terraform, NoSQL, Mongo dB, Solution Architecture.

Additional Skills:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud platform certifications.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other emerging technology domains.
- US healthcare experience adds advantage.
