Job Description Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Hyderabad (On-site) Timings: 12pm-9pm Experience: 5+ yrs (relevant) The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Consultant with a strong background in deploying Web Applications on Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure cloud platforms, DevOps practices, building CI/CD pipelines, deploying web-based applications with integration to e-commerce platforms into the cloud ecosystem. You will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and efficient DevOps solutions that support the full lifecycle of web application and e-commerce deployments. Key Responsibilities: Azure DevOps Architecture: - Design, implement, and manage Azure-based DevOps solutions for web apps, front-end technologies, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, commercetools). - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, integration, and testing of web applications and e-commerce systems. - Utilize Azure services (Azure DevOps, App Services, Virtual Machines, etc.) to create optimized, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions. - Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep. Collaboration & Consultation: - Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement DevOps best practices and methodologies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them to optimize their workflows and tackle integration challenges. - Act as a subject matter expert on Azure DevOps, cloud-based infrastructure, and e-commerce platform integration. Monitoring & Performance Optimization: - Monitor and optimize the performance of web applications, e-commerce platforms, and the underlying infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal resource usage. - Utilize Azure monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor) to track the health and performance of deployed applications and integrated e-commerce platforms. - Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency, security, and reliability of both web and e-commerce applications. Security & Compliance: - Ensure that DevOps solutions adhere to industry best practices for security and compliance, including secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and secure deployments. - Implement secure access controls, role-based access, and network security for Azure resources, web applications, and e-commerce platforms. Documentation & Reporting: - Document DevOps processes, pipeline configurations, integration setups, infrastructure setup, and best practices for both web and e-commerce platforms. - Generate reports on deployment metrics, security, and performance to share with stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, focusing on cloud infrastructure, web applications, and e-commerce platform integration. - Proven experience integrating and deploying web applications with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, commercetools, or similar systems. - Strong understanding of Azure services, including App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Networks, and Azure Storage. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and management (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). - Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Azure Bicep). - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). - Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams. - Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Desired Qualifications: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). - Experience with GitOps and related tools (ArgoCD, Flux). - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with web application performance optimization techniques
