Job Title API Automation Tester REST Assured Location Chennai Pune Coimbatore Job Type Full Time Experience Level 10 Yrs Salary 15 to 21 LPA Job Summary We are looking for a skilled API Automation Tester with hands-on experience in REST Assured to join our QA team The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated tests for RESTful APIs to ensure product quality and stability Key Responsibilities Design and implement automated test scripts for REST APIs using REST Assured and Java Collaborate with developers product managers and other QA team members to understand API requirements Create and maintain test data test environments and test documentation Perform integration regression and performance testing on APIs Analyze test results identify bugs and work with development teams to resolve issues Implement CI CD pipelines for automated test execution using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives Report testing metrics and contribute to continuous test process improvements Required Skills 6 years of experience in API testing and automation Strong experience with REST Assured and Java Solid understanding of RESTful architecture and HTTP methods Familiarity with tools like Postman Swagger or SoapUI Experience with test frameworks like TestNG JUnit or Cucumber Experience with version control systems like Git Understanding of CI CD and build tools like Jenkins Maven or Gradle Familiarity with JSON XML and API schema validation Good to Have Experience with BDD frameworks e g Cucumber Exposure to contract testing e g Pact Knowledge of performance testing tools e g JMeter Basic knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries Familiarity with cloud environments AWS Azure GCP Contact Sathya - 9159994497 Requirements Automation Testing API rest assured with Java Selenium
