Design Engineer

- Design Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Design Engineer to join our engineering and manufacturing team The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge in mechanical design manufacturing processes and engineering standards This role involves creating improving and validating designs that meet performance safety and quality requirements while supporting production and troubleshooting activities Key Responsibilities Develop detailed mechanical designs assemblies and components aligned with project requirements Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials BOMs and engineering documentation Perform engineering calculations simulations and technical data analysis to validate design concepts Select appropriate materials and ensure all designs adhere to mechanical design standards and industry best practices Collaborate with manufacturing quality and production teams to ensure design feasibility and resolve any design- or process-related issues Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimization of manufacturing processes Troubleshoot design and production challenges and propose effective timely solutions Ensure all designs comply with safety reliability and quality requirements Prepare technical reports presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 4-5 years of experience in mechanical design within the machine or manufacturing industry Strong understanding of machine design theory of machines and manufacturing processes Good knowledge of material selection and mechanical design standards Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience with other CAD tools is a plus Ability to develop and manage accurate BOMs Excellent analytical problem-solving and engineering calculation skills Strong communication and team collaboration abilities Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production or design issues Preferred Attributes Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Knowledge of GD T FEA or product lifecycle management PLM systems Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to design optimization Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Application Question s Do you have experience in the machine manufacturing industry Experience manufacturing processes 3 years Preferred Mechanical design 3 years Preferred Theory of Machines 3 years Preferred Bills of Materials 3 years Preferred Technical data Analysis 3 years Preferred AutoCAD 3 years Preferred SolidWorks 3 years Preferred 2D 3D mechanical designs 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
