Job Description Job Title Manager Cement and Concrete Technology Location: Head Office, New Delhi Reporting To Associate Programme Director Job Purpose To undertake applied research in low carbon cements and deliver result oriented solutions to the construction industry Key Responsibilities - Establish new concrete laboratory including setting up SOP and QC norms - Develop various mix designs, including high value and high performance concretes - Test various concretes including fresh and hardened properties - Laboratory and pilot production of concretes of various types through the use of supplementary materials. - Pilot production of structural and non-structural grade concretes and products including selection and analysis of raw materials, process and analysis - Use of cement in mortar and concrete, preparation of specimens, testing and analysis of mortar and concrete samples. - Support to teams on testing and analysis - Coordination with research laboratories in undertaking research and coordination - Visit various RMC and cement industries to understand their issues and provide customized solutions as and when needed Desired Qualification Graduate/Post Graduate in Civil, Cement, Materials, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Concrete Technology. Desired Work Experience Atleast 4 years of experience in a cement or concrete, or any allied industry with industrial work experience in QC/QA, research lab, plant operations Required as Regular / Contractual Employee As per need and qualification with performance based incentives Desired Category Manager C2 Desirable Attributes Must be proficient in English with excellent communication skills. Excellent knowledge and understanding of technology related businesses. Strong computer and software skills. Demonstrated experience to work independently and deliver performance. Must be a self-starter with multi-tasking ability.
