The Jamuria unit, the largest plant in the organization, is a modernized integrated steel plant equipped with facilities such as a Railway Siding and Captive Power Plant. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Engineer at the Jamuria plant. The responsibilities of the role involve conducting quality inspections, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also includes preparing quality control reports, analyzing data, and working with production teams to address product quality issues. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to maintain high standards of quality assurance and contribute to process improvements. Qualifications - Expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes and protocols - Strong Analytical Skills for data evaluation and problem-solving - Proficiency in Quality Management practices and tools - Effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams and presenting findings - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field - Prior experience in the steel manufacturing or related industry is a plus - Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements - Strong organizational and time-management skills
