Job PurposeNOC Engineers are responsible for carrying out monitoring operations as well configuring network and telecommunication equipment in datacenter and other organizations Experience of handling Enterprise or Datacentres LAN WAN Infrastructure Router and Switches Juniper Cisco and Dell Load Balancers F5 Citrix Netscaler Juniper Array Network DDOS and WAF and perform day to day Network operational activities Monitoring Troubleshooting and Resolution of Monitoring alerts Incidents reported by CustomersJob LocationChennai Kanchipuram PanvelRoles Responsibilities Ensure effective troubleshoot operation and maintenance of telecommunications networking equipment like switches routers etc for top tier data centers Experience of handling Enterprise or Datacentres LAN WAN Infrastructure and perform day to day Network operations activities Hands on experience on routing protocols managing cisco Juniper routers and switches Experience in troubleshooting network infrastructure and supporting large complex business critical LAN networks Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve any wireless communication issues within the confines of the office Update the network maintenance manual and submit a summary of changes to the manual each week to management Designing and implementing business solutions using common network equipment Monitoring and diagnosing performance issues Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational Working experience on security layer products like Firewalls Checkpoint Palo Alto IPS Cisco IBM Load balancers like F5 Radware Nginx or any other reverse proxy services knowledge will be preferred Should be an excellent team player and ability to develop and present technical material CCNA CCNP certifications highly preferred Advanced knowledge of the network operating systems youre going to be using on a daily basis including Cisco JUNOS and IOS Knowledge and understanding of key networking hardware including CPUs wiring and routers Familiarity with network analysis tools such as SolarWind Nagios Checkmk Splunk Proficiency in any coding languages also preffers EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS degree training and certification required BE B-Tech or equivalent with Computer Science IT or Electronics Communication Relevant Experience About More than 3 Years of relevant experience Expertise in Installation or handling and maintenance of telecommunications networking equipment like switches routers etc Person should have good experience in installation configuring and managing top tier data centers results oriented with broad IT infrastructure experience to meet the challenging business issues in a global environment Basic understanding of network services concepts like SNMP SYSLOG NTP DHCP DNS Routing protocols like EIGRP OSPF IS-IS and BGP and At least one leading router series like CISCO ISR 1k 2k 3k 4k and ASR series 1000 Juniper MX Series Routers etc Switch technologies STP RSTP MST and vPC and at least one leading switch series like CISCO NexUS 9k 7k 5k 3k and 2k and Juniper EX Series Switches etc Wireless Cisco and Aruba unified wireless network architecture WAN Optimizers Riverbed Steelhead and Cisco WaaS Network Monitoring Tools Cisco Prime Solarwinds Wireshark and iperf jperf Checkmk Load balancers F5 LTM F5 GTM DNS or Citrix Netscalaer ADC Broad knowledge and background on TCP IP MPLS WAN and LAN technologies Good working knowledge on Cisco 65xx 72xx 76xx Nexus 5k 7k FEX Arista switches Bluecoat proxy F5 LTM GTM Proficiency in MS office and related applications Any ticketing system knowledge Excellent verbal written communication organizational skills ability to prioritize constant changing workload to meet business demand Sound understanding and working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP EIGRP and OSPF Ability to interpret firewall logs and look for specific permission or denial of a source IPs to a specific destination in support of troubleshooting Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a high performing team Preferred Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience Preferred ITIL certification Preferred Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA or higher
