Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer with around 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web/desktop/mobile applications through structured testing methodologies and automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases accordingly. - Perform manual and automated testing of web applications. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects. - Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. - Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar. - Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and performance testing. - Raise and track bugs in tools like JIRA - Participate in agile development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation). - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies. - Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Appium. - Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript or Python. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). - Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
