Format/Company :- CoverStory Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Lead to join our team in Delhi on a full-time basis. The candidate will focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management, with expertise in fabric sourcing. The role requires strong negotiation, market research, and communication skills, instrumental in driving the companys sourcing strategies and enhancing product offerings for our customers. Qualifications And Skills - Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management with a strong track record in optimizing supply chain efficiencies. - Demonstrated experience in fabric sourcing, ensuring high-quality material procurement. (Mandatory skill) - Exceptional skills in negotiation, leveraging market understanding to secure cost-effective procurement deals. - Strong analytical skills with a robust capability in conducting market research to identify sourcing opportunities and strategies. - Excellent communication skills, essential for managing relationships with stakeholders across the supply chain. - Familiarity with the latest retail trends and a keen insight into market dynamics that can impact sourcing strategies. - Ability to develop and maintain productive vendor relationships to foster long-term partnerships and collaborations. - Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement software tools to streamline operations and data management. Roles And Responsibilities - Develop and implement a strategic sourcing framework that enhances Reliance Retail's supply chain competitive advantage. - Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with the company's quality, cost, and delivery standards. - Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and drive cost efficiency across the sourcing process. - Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and identify potential sourcing opportunities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and operational requirements. - Monitor and review vendor performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain service quality. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures to uphold company standards and reduce risks. - Continuously explore innovative sourcing solutions to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer needs.
