Our creative teams are behind hundreds of successful video ads and gameplay-centric motion designs that break through the noise. We're now looking for a Motion Graphics Designer Intern to help us push that boundary even further — with energy, curiosity, and an eye for design.

Role Overview

As a Motion Graphics Designer Intern, you will learn to bring video ads to life through movement, animation, typography, and effects. You'll work closely with our experienced motion artists, video editors, and strategists to contribute to dynamic visual storytelling for global gaming titles.

Whether it's animating text callouts, creating 2D UI transitions, or stylizing VFX over gameplay — your work will directly support the development of high-performing video content tailored for mobile gamers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into the intersection of gaming, animation, and performance marketing.

What You'll Learn & Do

- Animate 2D elements (typography, overlays, icons, HUDs) for video ads based on creative briefs.
- Apply motion to static designs (provided by graphic designers) to create scroll-stopping ad sequences.
- Support the creation of effects like screen shakes, zoom-ins, object trails, dissolves, and lighting flares that elevate gameplay.
- Learn how storytelling, psychology, and motion design intersect in gaming performance marketing.
- Collaborate closely with video editors and creative strategists to deliver polished animations under guidance.
- Experiment with AI tools like Runway ML, Pika, and Kaiber to boost creative workflows.
- Work on multiple creative iterations using rapid-feedback cycles and real-time reviews.

Requirements

- Foundational understanding of animation principles, visual rhythm, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (must have).
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (bonus if any).
- A reel or portfolio showcasing animation work — student, personal, or freelance projects (gaming or entertainment-related is a plus).
- Willingness to learn from feedback and work in an iterative, fast-paced production environment.
- Strong sense of initiative, organization, and accountability when handling creative tasks remotely.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

- Exposure to 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D)
- Experience with kinetic typography or VFX animation
- Familiarity with motion styles in the mobile gaming ad space
- Passion for games, pop culture, and interactive storytelling
