At ABB we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner Here progress is an expectation - for you your team and the world As a global market leader we ll give you what you need to make it happen It won t always be easy growing takes grit But at ABB you ll never run alone Run what runs the world This Position reports to Associate Delivery Manager MDG-Customer Finance Specialist - Customer master data Governance Role at FAO Service Center Bangalore Global Grade 16 reporting to Customer Master Data Team Lead Junior Team Lead Provide defined services to the internal customers with best quality in most efficient way As a customer master data specialist you will be responsible for maintaining and managing customer data within the organization s database systems You will ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of customer information to support various business functions and processes Your responsibilities Data Maintenance Update and maintain customer data records in the database including customer contact details addresses billing information Credit Limit etc and other relevant data as per ABB policy Data Quality Assurance Perform regular data audits and validations to ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of customer data Identify and rectify any data discrepancies or errors Data Governance Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to customer data laid down by ABB Data Integration Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer data across various systems and platforms ensuring data consistency and synchronization Data Reporting and Analysis Generate reports and provide insights into customer data metrics trends and patterns to support decision-making processes Process Improvement Identify areas for process improvement related to customer data management Propose and implement solutions to enhance data quality efficiency and accuracy Training and Documentation Develop and deliver training materials and documentation related to customer data management processes and best practices Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams including sales marketing finance and customer service to ensure accurate and timely customer data updates and resolve any data-related issues Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s or master s degree in accounting Finance or Commerce 1 to 2 years of experience in Order to Cash process O2C covering Customer Master Data management Cash application reconciliation reporting and accounting Must be flexible in working for any shift timings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of data governance principles and practices Familiarity with data privacy regulations e g GDPR CCPA Proficiency in using database management tools and systems Analytical mindset and the ability to derive insights from data Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously We value people from different backgrounds Could this be your story Apply today or visit www abb com to read more about us and learn about the impact of our solutions across the globe Fraud Warning Any genuine offer from ABB will always be preceded by a formal application and interview process We never ask for money from job applicants For current open positions you can visit our career website and apply Please refer to detailed recruitment fraud caution notice using the link
