Job Description

Tekion enables Product teams to address customer and business challenges through innovative approaches. The company is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management, to define and guide the direction of its CRM and Marketing Automation products. This position requires a strong knowledge of CRM, Marketing Automation, and Lead Management. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling complex tasks and building effective product solutions. Responsibilities include developing and executing the product roadmap, prioritizing tasks with cross-functional teams, making informed decisions based on data, presenting findings and recommendations to both customers and executives, and overseeing product lines from initial concept to post-production support. The role also involves collaborating with a team that works on complex issues and aims to deliver effective solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Shape the Product Roadmap – Influence organization-wide strategic decisions by championing current and future platform capabilities. Define the direction for your product by defining the product strategy and identifying key strategic pillar. Evanglize the product strategy with cross functional leadership.

- Make Product Successful: Drive the product strategy and product team to make Tekion CRM as top CRM in the vertical space. Deliver on product penetration and Promotor score goals .

- Establish Success Metrics – Define and monitor metrics to evaluate platform success and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. Regularly assess core business metrics and adjust priorities in response to evolving team goals.

- Champion the Customer Perspective – Serve as the primary advocate for our products with customers by actively gathering feedback, communicating updates and improvements, and fostering customer advocacy. Develop a strong understanding of the business environment, communicate effectively in business terms, and bridge the gap between our customers and products. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of user expectations to ensure applications align seamlessly with user workflows.

- Blend Entrepreneurial Drive with Structured Methodology – Lead pivotal strategic initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to refine customized processes. Approach challenges with both agility and discipline, ensuring projects are initiated efficiently and executed through systematic, scalable methodologies toward productization and repeatability.

- Manage and Mentor – Guide our dedicated team of Product Managers toward excellence. Support their professional and personal growth, facilitate skill development, and cultivate a high-performing, dependable, and unified team.

- Lead Product Engagement & Communication – Build strong relationships with leaders across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Learning & Development, Customer Success, and General Management. Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize communication and processes, serving as the key point of contact for leadership and stakeholders regarding your products.

- Enable Scalable Speed – Design and implement processes that support rapid execution while maintaining sustainability and scalability. Prioritize resources effectively, clearly articulate trade-offs, and position the team to achieve immediate targets as well as long-term objectives.

Requirements

- Strong business acumen with experience navigating complex product development cycles
- 10+ years in Product Management, with deep user empathy and process understanding
- 4+ years directly managing product managers
- Advanced degree (MBA or Engineering) from a top-tier institution
- Experience leading both onshore and offshore teams
- Proven ability to drive prioritization and collaborate across functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Successful track record in CRM and Marketing Automation for B2B or SaaS platforms
- End-to-end product lifecycle management, including post-release support
- Skilled in designing scalable processes
- Hands-on approach and proactive contributor
- Exceptional collaboration skills within cross-functional environments
- Ability to anticipate user needs and identify improvement areas
- Dedicated to delivering superior user experiences with measurable business results

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the automotive retail industry or with dealer/ OEM data.
- AI/ ML product management experience
