We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI data modelling master data management data warehousing and Azure data platform technologies If you have a passion for transforming data into actionable insights and driving business decisions we want to hear from you Mandatory Skills Power BI SQL DAX Preferred Skills MDM Azure TSQL Data Warehousing Power BI - Data Modelling and Report Development Mandatory Design and develop Power BI data models and interactive reports to visualize and analyze data Create visually compelling dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics Master Data Management or Data Warehousing Preferred Implement master data management solutions to ensure data consistency and integrity Design and maintain data warehouse structures for efficient storage and retrieval of data Azure Data Platform Experience Preferred Utilize Azure services such as Azure Data Factory Data Lake Delta Lake Data Bricks and Azure Synapse for data ingestion processing and analytics Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Fabric or Power Platform components Additional Technical Skills Familiarity with SQL CDC fabric notebooks Python and Parquet formats is a significant plus Experience in convenience store and market basket analytics is advantageous Knowledge of PDI Focal Point and retail industry experience is a plus Familiarity with SSRS is beneficial for integrated reporting solutions Familiarity with CI CD and agile processes as well as source control systems is advantageous Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field 5-8years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Power BI data modeling and Azure data platform technologies Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL or T-SQL for data manipulation and optimization Experience with master data management data warehousing and analysis services structures and modeling Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory Data Lake Data Bricks and Azure Synapse Knowledge of SQL CDC Python and Parquet formats is advantageous Experience in convenience store or market basket analytics is preferred Experience with PDI Focal Point retail industry experience and SSRS is beneficial Familiarity with CI CD and agile processes as well as source control systems is advantageous If you are a proactive and experienced Data Engineer looking to contribute to data-driven decision-making in a dynamic environment apply now and join us in unlocking the power of data for our organization s success
