Site Civil Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibility:

1. Supervising and Managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

2. Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.

3. Analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.

4. Planning and overseeing allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimize project efficiency.

5. Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to budget constraints.

6. Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.

7. Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes and safety regulations.

8. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.

9. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.

10. Analyse and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical & geologic data and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities.

11. Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

12. Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.

13. Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.

14. Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.

15. Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.

16. Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.

17. Assesses safety and finance goals.

18. Must be known Material Planning and Reconciliation.

19. Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.

20. Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.

21. Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.

22. Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.

23. Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.

24. Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.

25. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.

26. Must be known about Interior fit out Project, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing with additional advantage), and detailed project drawings. Major Interior Projects done.

27. Must have Knowledge of AutoCAD and Read Drawings.

28. Must be able to Prepare Site billing for Client.

29. Must be known about Reviewing for subcontractor&aposs claim billing.

30. Must have Good Knowledge of Site Measurement.

31. Must be Available for Execution in other Regions

32. To be Expert in Corporate Fit-Out & Hotels Interior.

33. To ensure the roles and responsibility are clearly defined and understood by all members within the function.

34. Should be known about Technical Services in Commercial Spaces.

35. Strong Understanding of DPR (Daily Progress Report) and DSR-DAR.

36. Must have Knowledge of Rate Analysis.
