Job Description Position :- Growth Strategy Intern About the role :- Varaha is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to help answer key strategic questions that will unlock exponential growth for the company. Roles and responsibilities :- - Work collaboratively with our strategy team to flesh out a short, medium and long-term growth strategy for Varaha. - Analyze markets that Varaha can enter alongside our core carbon business, such as biodiversity credits, nature credits and water credits, to develop a strategy for how our product mix should evolve over time. Evaluate companies in the natural capital asset category, categorizing them by performance and market resilience, and help develop Varaha's strategic positioning amidst the competitive landscape - Identify the right countries (within Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa) Varaha should enter and devise go-to-market strategies for the same, including implementation partners, regulatory frameworks, agricultural practices, agro-climatic conditions, and crop mix. - Within carbon markets, analyze the demand and growth potential of different project types - such as enhanced rock weathering, biochar, etc. - to inform our growth strategy for the same. - Develop our strategy for the optimal mix of revenue sources - including insetting vs. offsetting, voluntary vs. regulatory markets, and domestic vs. international markets.
