Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

- Experience with working on Linux operating Systems.
- Hands-on experience on setting up MongoDB replicasets and sharded clusters
- Need to work on MongoDB upgrades and refreshes.
- Need to work on MongoDB backup configuration using OpsMgr
- Hands-On experience with MongoDB OpsMgr.
- Experience working with X.509 authentication mechanism
- Exposure to performance issues troubleshooting.
- Experience with unix shell scripting.
- Experience working with DB migration to Cloud.
- Exposure to Kubernetes

Good-to-Have

- Support several application and support teams with numerous on-going projects.
- Exposure to AWS
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Proven ability in UNIX shell scripting.

Upgrade & Migration of large databases across data Centre.

Experence in setting up Disaster Recovery sites activities

Manage regularly scheduled backups occasionally a database recovery.

Work on MongoDB deployments on Kubernetes.
