Job Description Creative Fashion Designer Approach: Looking to hire a candidate who is curiously driven & highly passionate about the world of FASHION. An optimistic person, with creative originality. Well versed & always updated with the world of fashion. Candidate needs to have a hands-on approach working on principles of rapid prototyping. Applying user centric design approachto cater various international high street brands. Is fun to work with and excited about the challenges of working in an ambiguous, fast changing environment. Roles & Responsibility: Trend analysis and forecasts:keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes Make story boards around concepts in trend&create mood boards to show to clients Monthly Range Presentation Sketch silhouettes and bring them to life.Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel, and write specifications such as colour schemes,construction, material types, and accessory requirements. Select appropriate fabrics for silhouettes. Work one-on-one with pattern master and tailor to get the fit right.understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs Explore various genres of fashion. Education and Experience Bachelors In Fashion Design from a reputed college/university Minimum 4 -6 years of experience of working in apparel export Desired Skills Proficient in: Adobe Photoshop, Corel draw, Adobe illustrator & Ned Graphics. fashion, design, colour sense, sourcing, corel draw, adobe illustrator, product development, professional liability,intuitive foresight *Please submit yourPROTFOLIOalong with your CV.
