Job Title: IT Support Engineer Company: Throne Solutions Location: Delhi, India Employment Type: Contract Job Overview Throne Solutions is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer for a contract assignment in Delhi, India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, installation, and end-user assistance. This role involves working directly at client sites to ensure smooth IT operations and timely issue resolution. Key Responsibilities - Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, and basic networking issues. - Handle user support requests, diagnose problems, and deliver quick, effective solutions. - Support device imaging, system updates, software installations, and patching. - Maintain and track IT assets, tools, and service records. - Work with global or remote support teams for escalations and complex issues. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and organizational IT policies. - Document all work performed, including incidents, resolutions, and equipment handled. Required Skills & Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Technician, or similar role. - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and Windows OS environments. - Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, etc.). - Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise tools. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Preferred Qualifications - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. - Experience in an enterprise or multinational company environment. - Knowledge of ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.
