Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid. - Implement API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, API key validation, and threat protection. - Collaborate with architects and product teams to design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices and design patterns. - Develop custom policies using Java, JavaScript, and Python (where required). - Ensure adherence to API governance, scalability, and performance optimization standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API proxies, authentication, and performance. - Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines. - Provide technical expertise in API design patterns, security, and lifecycle management. Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid. - Expertise in API security (OAuth, JWT, API Key validation, Threat Protection). - Proficiency in Java for custom policy development. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices. - Knowledge of API proxies, traffic management, caching, and mediation policies. - Familiarity with API design patterns and governance models. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
