Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to the E-commerce industry, ensuring efficiency in handling high-volume transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in audits (internal and statutory) and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all accounting transactions.
- Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Experience in handling e-commerce transaction flow, payment gateways, and returns/reversals.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional certifications (CA Inter/ICWA) will be an added advantage.
- 57 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in E-commerce or Retail industry.
